Fifty years since it’s opening on stage, this modern day re-telling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is still loved the world over.

The story highlights the ever-growing menace of gang warfare in 1950’s New York, where racial tensions between white Americans and Puerto Rican immigrants are rife.

A powerful and thrilling tale of young love, a clash of cultures, passion and tragedy accompanied by a breathtaking musical score.
