U2 are set to play the Millennium Stadium on Saturday 22nd August as part of the U2 360° Tour. The Millennium Stadium gig will be the last date of the European tour, with the band then jetting off to the USA for the next leg of the tour. Glasvegas will be one of the bands who will support U2 at the Millennium Stadium.
The U2 360° Tour will feature an innovative 360° stage, which should give the audience an unobstructed view from all angles. There's a great virtual model of the stage on the U2 360° website. The main stage, which looks a bit like a giant spider, will occupy half of the Millennium Stadium pitch, as seen in this plan: Millennium Stadium Concert Layout.
