Have an ‘Absolutely Fantastic’ Insight into ‘The Brilliant World of Tom Gates’

Bestselling author and illustrator, Liz Pichon – best know from her award-winning book, Tom Gates – will launch the fourth annual Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival at a fun filled event on Friday 20th November at City Hall in Cardiff.
The event is set to be filled with entertaining activities for children where they can learn more about Tom Gates’ world, play the caramal wafer trick and even hear music from Tom’s band – DogZombies. Kids will be shown demonstration from Liz herself about how to draw in her Tom Gates style, and read an extract from her brand new Tom Gates book which is out this October.
Liz will be signing copies of her new book after this exclusive session so don’t forget to bring a book or some pocket money as books will be available to buy at the event.
It will be an event packed with doodles, fun and much more, and it’s not to be missed!

The 2016 Cardiff Children’s Literature Festival will return next spring from 16-24 April and will deliver over 50 events featuring contemporary authors and illustrators in both English and Welsh. Next year marks the Roald Dahl Centenary and to celebrate the legendary author, a host of Roald Dahl themed events will be included featuring storytelling, craft sessions and some very special guests.
