Llandaff Christmas Lights On evening

When: Wednesday 25th November 2015 - 7pm to 9pm

Where: Llandaff High Street, Cardiff CF5 2DZ

The countdown to Christmas officially starts in Llandaff with the annual Lights On evening just around the corner.

The Christmas Lights On event, which was arranged by the Llandaff Society High Street Traders, will be held one month before Christmas on Wednesday, 25th November at 7pm.

Christmas enthusiasts and local residents will be able to enjoy an evening full of merriment, including entertainment from Cathedral school brass band and Howells school choir. Llandaff will also be joined by special guest, BBC current affairs journalists, Nick Pallit who will do the honours of switching on the lights.
Those who drive will have to plan ahead and find alternative routes on the evening as the High Street will be closed to traffic between 6pm and 9pm.

XX, XX of Llandaff Society of High Street Traders, said: “The Llandaff Lights On evening is always a great time for the village to get together, enjoy the festivities and get into the Christmas spirit. We are very grateful to the local businesses and community who get involved and help make the event more special.”

Last year’s Lights On evening was a spectacular event with over 100 people enjoying the festivities. Llandaff’s Hair Flair girls held a fun presentation of the characters from the popular film “Frozen” while Casualty actor and former strictly contestant, Patrick Robinson, swtiched the lights on.
