Age Cymru Gala Dinner and Awards

Join us for our annual Gala Dinner and Awards supported by Barchester Healthcare and hosted by BBC Wales presenter Lucy Owen at the Marriott Hotel, Cardiff on Friday 11 March 2016.
The Age Cymru Gala Dinner and Awards is our black tie event that enables us to celebrate and award those people and organisations that made exceptional contributions to the lives of older people in Wales in 2015. There will be specific awards for: volunteering; care homes; age friendly business; excellence in delivering local services; outstanding contribution award for an individual or organisation who contributed to help create an age friendly Wales.
The event, which has become one of the biggest of its kind in Wales, also provides an ideal opportunity to network amongst some of the key individuals, businesses and organisations providing services to older people within an informal and friendly atmosphere.
We like our guests to have lots of fun at our show case event . So this year there will be a Roald Dahl theme running throughout the evening from the art installations to the delicious menu. You may even come across a wondering Oompa Loompa or a Big Friendly Giant! And of course we will have our usual range of money-can’t-buy prizes for our now legendary auction.
There'll be lots of dancing and partying too.
