I went to the Aegean with my other half for Valentines as I loved Greek food. I felt the surroundings were nice and cosy and am looking forward to going back in the summer when the french doors and large windows would be open. I felt the service was good and friendly, food freshly made and the Stiphado (that I had) and the Moussaka (that my g/f had) was amazing, the best I've had for quite a while. Large potions that we couldn't finish, but really amazing flavours and textures to the food. My dessert was a bit of a let down, strawberry cheesecake, but my g/f's Baklava was sensational, the starters were also very good. I would definately go back again, and have recommended it to many of my friends.

This is one of the few Greek restaurants in Wales and is well established. The interior has a Greek taverna look with many paintings and photos of Greek scenes on the walls. The slatted wood ceiling is a nice touch. However the seating is rather cramped with the tables too close together. Recorded Greek music plays in the background. The food was acceptable but of somewhat variable quality. Overall I would say 7 out of 10. The star was the Casanova cake for desert - simply divine! Service was friendly. Summing up - good but not great.
