The Cardiff International Arena, also known as the CIA, is Cardiff's largest purpose-built exhibition facility. The main arena of the CIA offers 4,000 sq. metres of space that can be used to host exhibitions, conferences, concerts, cultural and sporting events.
The CIA was officially opended on September 10th 1993, when Shirley Bassey performed a Gala Opening Concert in front of 5,500 eager fans in her home town. Since then the CIA has gone on to host hundreds of big name acts and has become the city's most popular concert venue.
This year the Cardiff CIA will play host to big name acts such as Westlife, Leona Lewis, Pet Shop Boys and Peter Kay among others. In July boxing fans from around the World will converge on the CIA for the 3-day WBC Night of Champions boxing festival.

How to get there:
By car: Exit the M4 at Junctions 29, 32 or 33 and follow signs to Cardiff city centre.
By bus & train: Cardiff International Arena is a 5-10 minute walk from the central bus and train stations.
